VOCATIONAL TRAINING INTERNSHIPS

 

ON-THE-JOB TRAINING (FCTs)

At the València Clínico-Malvarrosa Health Department, students from intermediate and advanced vocational training courses from centres with which there is an agreement carry out their internships. The application and processing of the same is carried out through the Educational Centres.

The student's Instructor monitors and evaluates the students' placements together with the corresponding Tutor at each Centre.
Both activities are coordinated and reviewed by the Training, Teaching and Knowledge Dissemination Unit.  
In order to be able to carry out the work placement, the educational centre shall submit, sufficiently in advance, a work placement application addressed to the managing director of the department, through the Teaching Unit, in which the following documentation shall be attached:

  • Theoretical-practical programme.
  • Number of students.
  • Practical training period and timetable.
  • Person in charge of practical training at the teaching centre.
  • Objectives to be covered in the practical training (Annex III).
  • Collaboration agreement (Annex Y). If it has not been previously signed or the previous one is not in force.
  • Assessment methods and guidelines.
  • The corresponding practical training annex (Annex II).

 
Students are required to submit the documents listed below for the start of their internship. It is recommended that 2-3 days before the start date of the internship, the documentation is handed in at the Training, Teaching and Knowledge Dissemination Unit. At the same time, an identification card will be issued, which all students must wear visibly during the internship. This card must be returned to the Training, Teaching and Knowledge Dissemination Unit at the end of the work placement.

 • Negative certificate from the Central Registry of Sexual Offences (less than 6 months old
